Moringa Smoothie Bowl

We’ve teamed up with Ranette Prime founder of Loretta’s Kitchen to bring you this fantastic Moringa Smoothie Bowl Recipe. Part of a healthy hair care routine includes good nutrition and what better way to enjoy a delicious and nutritious snack than a yummy smoothie bowl. Follow the recipe below to enjoy your Morniga Smoothie:

 

 

Moringa Smoothie

2 small frozen sliced bananas

1/2 rolled oats

1 – 1/2 cups coconut drink (not the canned milk)

1- 2 tsp of Moringa Powder

1 tsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

 

Toppings (optional)

Hulled Hemp Seeds

Cacao Nibs

Coconut flakes

Pistachios

Kiwi

 

Method:

 

Slice the bananas and freeze overnight

Soak the oats in the coconut milk for 10 to 15 minutes

Add the strained oats, moringa, maple syrup, bananas and vanilla to a blender or food processor and slowly add the milk in – to desired consistency.

 

Serve in a bowl and serve with desired toppings.

* Moringa powder has a strong taste like matcha so experiment with 1 teaspoon to start with and then add up to 3.
